Sheep Products For Sale:
LAMB Our sheep are a mixed breed that is primarily Icelandic. In early May, our moms and babies are put out on the pasture to graze for the summer. The Icelandic breed is known for its mild, flavorful meat and this in conjunction with the fact that the lambs are 100% grass fed makes Sunbow Lamb a delicious treat. Lambs are typically available in November and are sold as either a whole or half animal. This equates to about 30 pounds of meat for a whole and 15 for a half. Cost is $2.25/lb hanging weight plus the $70 processing fee. Please contact us if you would like to reserve a lamb for this fall.
SHEEPSKIN RUGS Wow, are these awesome. Average size is three feet across and 4 feet long. Cost is $125. For $10 extra, we can customize your sheepskin with elastic 'holds' so that it can be used as a car seat cover.
WOOL BLANKETS We send our raw, cleaned wool to a cardery on Prince Edward Island to have beautiful wool Hudson Bay blankets made. These blankets are available in many colors and sizes. Best of all they are machine washable and the workmanship is guaranteed for life. Reserve yours today.
RAW WOOL PRODUCTS
We have an array of raw wool products including roving, batting, and yarn. At the farm we also have a dyers garden and raise such plants as indigo, woad, weld, and goldenrod. We are always eager to speak to other wool enthusiasts so let us know if share our passion and are interested in any of these items.
