We are looking for an intern to work 2-3 days per week and for folks who could help with pick-days on Thursday mornings May - October. Fruit and Vegetable Intern – Work 2-3 mornings from 7:30 am to 12 pm (approximately 15-20 hours total per week) learning the art and science of successful food production on an organic market farm. Specific tasks include but are not limited to: planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, pest control, infrastructure maintenance, sales, delivery and crop planning. Apprentice needs to be available for more limited hours in April and then at the full 15-20 hours/week for May – August. Availability on Thursdays is required, including into the afternoon until all vegetable boxes are picked and packed. Preference given to folks who can continue working on Thursdays in Sep and Oct. Pay contingent upon experience and job performance.
